I’ve done KYC - why do I have to also do this account verification?

Just a heads up, this information is relevant for Australia and New Zealand ONLY. 

Some Taskers may have completed a KYC check through our third-party payment provider Stripe.  

Stripe conducts checks to comply with applicable KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations.  

This compliance process through Stripe is separate from verifying your Airtasker account through our website (and third-party providers), which we have asked you to do to comply with recent legislative changes. These changes require platform operators, like Airtasker, to collect certain information and report on earnings made through Airtasker to relevant tax authorities.

To avoid disruptions to your payouts, please make sure you complete the quick and easy two-step verification process.
