How can I verify my account?

Just a heads up, this information is relevant for Australia and New Zealand ONLY. 

To verify your account, simply follow these steps:

1. Log into your Airtasker account Open the Airtasker app or website and log in with your credentials.

2. Access settings Click on your profile picture to open the menu, then select 'Settings'.

3. Select 'Verify Account' In the Settings menu, find and click on 'Verify Account'.

4. Verify your identity Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the identity verification process.

5. Submit your tax information. Provide the necessary tax information as prompted.

6. Complete the verification Click 'Finish Verifying Your Account' to finalise the process.

Important Note: Please use your full legal name and date of birth during this process and ensure the details you submit exactly match.  This will help avoid issues with verifying your account.

If you've changed your name and need to update your account details, you can do so by following these steps:

1. Re-verify your identity: Use a government-issued ID that documents your new legal name.

2. Update your tax information: If you go through the Submit Tax Information process again, please note that you will need to re-enter all of your details. This will create a new tax profile, and your previous tax profile will be voided
