To block private messages from a customer on the Android and iOS app, open the "Messages" tab, select the message thread, access the menu in the top right, and tap "Block messages." On the web, open the "Messages" tab, select the thread, scroll to the bottom, and click "Block messages." This action prevents further messages but retains past message history, displaying "You can no longer message this user" to both parties. If you block messages by mistake, support can assist in reversing it.
If you'd like to prevent a customer from messaging you again, you can block the private messages. Here are the steps that you may follow:
Android and iOS app:
- Open the “Messages” tab
- Open the message thread you have with the user
- Open the menu in the top right corner of the message thread
- Tap on “Block messages”
Web:Web:
- Open the “Messages tab”
- Open the message thread you have with the user
- Scroll to the bottom of the message thread

Click “Block messages”
You will still be able to see the past message history, block messages will just prevent the customer from directly messaging you again. The text - “You can no longer message this user.” will be visible to both parties in the message thread.
