Once you post a task, it appears publicly for Taskers to make offers. Review and accept the best offer, entering your card details if prompted. Payment, including the connection fee, is charged and held securely in escrow via Airtasker Pay until task completion. After assigning a Tasker, you can message them privately to finalize task details.
Once you’ve posted your task, it will be published publicly on the task feed.
Taskers who are interested in your task can then make an offer.
Check out your offers and think about which Tasker is best suited for your task. When you've made a decision, you simply need to accept their offer.
Please note: if you have not yet provided us with your credit/debit card details, you will be prompted to enter your card details before you can successfully assign.
The accepted Tasker offer, along with the connection fee, is charged to your payment method at the time of assignment. These funds are securely held in escrow within Airtasker Pay until the task is completed, ensuring that you retain control over the payment and the timing of its release to the Tasker's bank account.
