Airtasker Pro Pass Terms & Conditions

These Airtasker Pro Pass Terms & Conditions (Pro Pass Membership Terms) are between you and Airtasker Limited (ABN 53 149 850 457) (Airtasker). These Pro Pass Terms govern the purchase, renewal and use of an Airtasker Pro Pass (as defined below). By purchasing, renewing, or using an Airtasker Pro Pass, you agree to these Pro Pass Terms, and agree that any use of the Platform is also subject to Airtasker’s Website Terms and Conditions available at www.airtasker.com/au/terms/ (Website Terms) (collectively, the Terms). 

  1. About the Airtasker Pro Pass Membership

    1. An Airtasker Pro Pass is a paid membership program that entitles the subscribed account holder (Pro Member) to earn income by completing tasks on the Airtasker Australia platform www.airtasker.com (Platform) free of “tasker service fees” (as defined in the Website Terms) (Tasker Service Fees) up to the Fee-Free Threshold (as defined below) in each Pro Pass Membership Period (as defined below) (Airtasker Pro Pass). 
    2. During an active Pro Pass Membership Period, Pro Pass Members pay no Tasker Service Fees on the first $22,500 of gross tasker earnings earned through the Platform (Fee-Free Threshold) (the Membership Benefit). 
    3. Once the Fee-Free Threshold is reached, the Tasker Service Fees applicable to a Gold tier tasker at such time will apply to ongoing tasker earnings for the remainder of that Pro Pass Membership Period.
    4. Any other applicable fees and charges that are incurred in ordinary use of the Platform (such as “cancellation fees” (as defined in the Website Terms)) will continue to apply.

  2. Airtasker Pro Pass fees and term

    1. The annual fee for an Airtasker Pro Pass is $1,980 (inclusive of GST) (Airtasker Pro Pass Fee) and is payable in full at the time of purchase. 
    2. An Airtasker Pro Pass is valid for 12 months from the date of payment of the Airtasker Pro Pass Fee (Airtasker Pro Pass Period).
    3. At the expiry of the applicable Airtasker Pro Pass Period, the Airtasker Pro Pass will automatically renew for a successive 12-month period (being a new Pro Pass Period) unless the Airtasker Pro Pass Membership is terminated prior to the renewal date, in accordance with these Pro Pass Membership Terms. 
    4. By purchasing an Airtasker Pro Pass, you authorise Airtasker to automatically charge your nominated payment method (or another card on file) for the then current annual Airtasker Pro Pass Fee.
    5. You are responsible for ensuring your payment details remain accurate and up to date. A failed or declined payment does not relieve you of your obligation to pay.
    6. From time to time, we may offer different membership programs, and the fees and terms for those different memberships may vary. You will find details about the membership model you are subscribed to, the applicable membership fee and the next due date in your account. 

       

  3. Payments

    1. An Airtasker Pro Pass can be purchased by any individual aged 18 years and over with an active Airtasker Australia user account. 
    2. To purchase an Airtasker Pro Pass, you must visit the Airtasker Pro Pass Landing Page and follow the steps to purchase your Airtasker Pro Pass. 
    3. Airtasker Pro Pass cannot be purchased using gift cards, Airtasker credits, vouchers, or coupon codes.
    4. Airtasker Pro Pass can only be purchased by the individual Airtasker account holder who will be the Pro Member. Airtasker Pro Pass can not be purchased for any other individual or account.
    5. Airtasker Pro Pass cannot be purchased through the Airtasker mobile application and must be purchased via the Airtasker website.

       

  4. Cancellations and refunds

    1. You may cancel your Airtasker Pro Pass at any time by contacting Airtasker’s customer service team (propass@airtasker.com) at least 7 days prior to your Airtasker Pro Pass renewal date.
    2. Airtasker Pro Pass are not refundable (except a pro rata refund may be extended in the event the Pro Pass program is discontinued by Airtasker during your relevant Pro Pass Period).  
    3. Cancelling your Airtasker Pro Pass means that your Airtasker Pro Pass will not automatically renew at the end of the Membership Period.  Cancelling an Airtasker Pro Pass does not entitle you to any credit, refund or exchange. 
    4. Subject to clause 4.2 and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Airtasker Pro Pass have no cooling-off period, and Airtasker Pro Pass Fees are non-refundable, including in circumstances where the Airtasker Pro Pass is partially used, completely unused and/or the Pro Member account has been restricted or deactivated for misuse or deleted on request of the Pro Member. 

  5. Fair Use

    1. Airtasker may monitor for, and/or impose restrictions to prevent, use outside of fair use, which may include, but are not limited to, the following: 
      1. Excessive, repetitive, or abusive booking behaviour.
      2. Sharing access to or use of an Airtasker Pro Member account between other users or businesses.
      3. Behaviour that Airtasker determines to be fraudulent, exploitative or otherwise outside of ordinary Tasker use.

  6. Account Use and Non-Transferability

    1. Airtasker Pro Pass are non-transferable and may only be used by the Airtasker Pro Member.
    2. You must not share your account credentials or allow any third party to access or use your Airtasker Pro Pass.
    3. Any attempt to transfer, share, or misuse an Airtasker Pro Pass may result in immediate restriction, suspension, or termination of the account without any refund.

  7. Suspension and Termination

    1. If Airtasker reasonably determines that you have breached these Pro Pass Terms or Airtasker’s Website Terms, Airtasker may immediately restrict, suspend, or terminate your Airtasker Pro Pass or Airtasker account.
    2. In the event that your Airtasker account is reasonably restricted, suspended, or terminated for breaching Airtasker’s Website Terms or Community Guidelines, you will not be entitled to any refund, credit, or compensation.
    3. Airtasker reserves the right to accept or refuse any attempts to purchase or use an Airtasker Membership, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

  8. Changes to the Pro Pass Terms and Benefits

    1. Airtasker may, in its reasonable discretion, change these Pro Pass Terms, the Membership Benefits, discontinue the Airtasker Pro Pass program or modify its pricing.  
    2. Any changes implemented by Airtasker will not affect your right to cancel your Airtasker Pro Pass autorenewal at any time.  As reasonably determined by Airtasker, where we make material changes to these Pro Pass Terms or the Membership Benefits, we will provide you with 30 days’ prior written notice in writing.  
    3. If any change to these Pro Pass Terms is found invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that change is severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining changes or conditions.
    4. Continued use of an Airtasker Pro Pass after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Pro Pass Terms.

  9. Disclaimers and Liability

    1. Holding an Airtasker Pro Pass does not guarantee that you will be assigned to any task/s, nor does it impact the Airtasker Services (as defined in the Website Terms) provided to you. It merely provides the Pro Member with the Membership Benefits.
    2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Airtasker excludes all liability arising from or in connection with the Airtasker Pro Pass.
    3. Nothing in these Pro Pass Terms limits any guarantees that cannot be excluded under law.

  10. Privacy

    1. Personal information collected in connection with your Airtasker Pro Pass is handled in accordance with Airtasker’s Privacy Policy.

  11. General

    1. Airtasker Pro Passs cannot be used in conjunction with other offers unless expressly stated.
    2. You may have certain rights under the Australian Consumer Law which cannot be excluded and are not affected by these Pro Pass Terms. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, with respect to Airtasker Pro Passs, including without limitation, any express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. 
    3. In the event of any inconsistency between Airtasker’s Website Terms and these Pro Pass Terms, these Pro Pass Terms will prevail in relation to the Airtasker Pro Pass.

  12. Governing Law

    1. These Pro Pass Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. By purchasing an Airtasker Pro Pass, you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
