5 Million Tasks Giveaway Terms & Conditions

1. To celebrate the completion of 5 million tasks on the Airtasker Australia Platform www.airtasker.com (the Platform), Airtasker Limited (Airtasker) is running a giveaway where: 
   1. One (1) person will receive a cash prize of $500 AUD (Cash Prize Winner); and 
   2. Five (5) people will each receive a $100 AUD Airtasker voucher (Voucher Winners). 

(the Giveaway). 

2. The Giveaway will be open from 9:00 am AEDT on 12 November 2025 until such time that Airtasker announces on its Instagram page (@airtasker) that the 5 millionth task on Airtasker has been completed (Giveaway Period).
3. The Giveaway is a game of chance and is open to individuals who:
   1. are Australian residents; and
   2. are 18 years or older; and
   3. during the Giveaway Period, use the Platform as a Customer and have a posted task completed. 

(Eligible Entrants).

4. To enter the Giveaway, Eligible Entrants must: 
   1. Follow the @airtasker Instagram account; and 
   2. Like the @airtasker post promoting the Giveaway.
      
5. The Cash Prize Winner will be the individual who posts the 5 millionth task that is completed on the Platform. 
6. The five (5) Voucher Winners will be selected using a random selector generator.  
7. Airtasker will contact all winners within 2 business days of the end of the Giveaway Period, to notify them of the applicable prize they have won. 
8. To claim the Cash Prize, the Cash Prize Winner must provide their bank account details to Airtasker within 5 days of being notified that they are the Cash Prize Winner.  In the event that the Cash Prize Winner does not claim the Cash Prize within 5 business days, Airtasker will select an alternate Cash Prize Winner using a random selector generator. 
9. The names of the six (6) winners will be published by Airtasker on the @airtasker Instagram account by 11:00 am AEDT on 20 December 2025.
10. By 20 December 2025, Airtasker will:
    1. Deposit $500 into the nominated bank account of the Cash Prize Winner; and
    2. Send a $100 Airtasker Voucher to each of the Voucher Winners.  The Airtasker Vouchers will be sent to the Voucher Winners by email, using the email address provided by the Voucher Winner on their Airtasker account. 
11. To use the Airtasker voucher, the Voucher Winners must post a task on the Platform. Then, when they accept the offer of an independent contractor and assign the job to them, they must enter the voucher code when prompted to enter payment details, to pay for the task and any associated fees (either in part or in full, depending on the voucher balance).
12. The Voucher Winners acknowledge and agree that any attempt to redeem an  Airtasker voucher on the Platform will be subject to Airtasker’s Terms and Conditions available at www.airtasker.com/terms and that all tasks must adhere to Airtasker’s Community Guidelines.
13. Pursuant to Airtasker’s Terms and Conditions, Voucher Winners specifically acknowledge and agree that any services provided to you in relation to a task you post on the Platform will be the services of an independent contractor engaged by you.  To the extent permitted by law, Airtasker is not liable for any loss arising out of or in any way connected with the services provided to you by an independent contractor in relation to any task.
14. By entering the Giveaway, you agree and consent to Airtasker publishing your name and task title and description in public marketing materials, in the event that you are the winner of the giveaway.  You further consent to being contacted by Airtasker to discuss participating in PR interviews.
15. The Airtasker vouchers cannot be transferred to another person or exchanged for cash or a refund.
16. This offer is made at Airtasker’s sole discretion, and Airtasker reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Giveaway at any time, subject to applicable laws.
17. If Airtasker determines at its sole discretion that there has been an attempt to use an Airtasker voucher in a manner that is fraudulent, immoral or in any way inconsistent with Airtasker’s Terms and Conditions or Community Guidelines, the Airtasker voucher will be rendered null and void, and Airtasker may restrict the individual from using the Platform.
18. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
