I'm a Tasker, what is subcontracting?

Subcontracting occurs when someone other than the assigned person completes a task, requiring agreement from both the Tasker and Customer. Subcontracting without Customer permission violates Community Guidelines.

Shared accounts are prohibited by our Terms and Conditions; everyone involved in a task must have their own Airtasker account, including subcontractors, for insurance eligibility. As the assigned Tasker, you enter a task contract with the Poster, holding full responsibility for the task. Any issues such as reviews, cancellations, or insurance claims will be linked to your account, even if subcontracted. You are also liable for any damage or loss during the task.
