If your mobile number or email address is linked to an old or duplicate Airtasker account, you can’t use it on your current account. Airtasker allows only one active account per person. Each mobile number or email address can only be linked to one account at a time. For more information, see our Account Guidelines.
What should I do?
If you recognise the account, try logging in to it first. If you need help, see I can’t log in, what should I do?.
If you can’t access or don’t recognise the account, or you accidentally created a duplicate, submit an account support request. You can also use this form if you’ve already deleted your old account but your details still appear to be linked to it.
If you have more than one account, our team will review them and determine which account should remain active. Avoid deleting an account simply to release your mobile number or email address.
What information should I provide?
Include:
- The mobile number or email address you’re trying to use.
- The email addresses associated with your current and old accounts, if known.
- Which account you want to keep.
- A screenshot of any error message.
- Any previous support reference number about the issue.
Never include passwords or verification codes.
What happens next?
Submitting the form creates a support ticket. Our team will review your request and respond by email to confirm the next steps. We may ask for additional information to verify account ownership before making changes.
If your old account has active tasks, pending payments, or unresolved issues, we may need to resolve these before unlinking your mobile number or email address.
