How do I update my email address?

You can update the email address linked to your Airtasker account using a web browser.

Before you start

• Make sure you can access the mobile number linked to your account. You'll need to enter a security code sent to that number.

• If you haven't added a mobile number, go to your mobile number settings and add it first.

  ⚠️ Your new email address must not already be linked to another Airtasker account. If you're adding or updating your mobile number, that number must also not be linked to another Airtasker account.

Steps to update your email address

1. Open your email settings in a web browser and log in if prompted. You can also access this page by selecting your profile picture → Settings → Email.
2. Delete the existing email address and enter your new one.
3. Select Update.
4. You'll be prompted to enter a security code sent to the mobile number linked to your account. Enter the code to confirm the change.

Make sure your email address has been successfully updated before leaving the page.
