To improve the quality and reliability of our marketplace, some tasks will have an expiry time set on their offers. In certain cases, offers can become invalid (for example, if the Tasker is no longer available) but not necessarily withdrawn. If accepted, these Tasks are more likely to be cancelled and result in a negative experience for customers like yourself. By setting an expiration time for these tasks, we hope we can improve the overall experience for our users, and improve trust and reliability on the Airtasker platform.
Will I receive any warning before the expiry?
You’ll receive an email approximately one hour before each offer expires, reminding you of the upcoming expiry.
What happens when an offer expires?
You won’t be able to assign the Task to the Tasker who made that offer.
What happens if I’m interested in an offer but miss the deadline?
No worries! You’ll have the option to request to renew the offer, and we’ll do our best to bring it back for you. We recommend confirming that the Tasker is still available, even if the offer has been re-opened.
