In order to comply with KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations, our payment provider, Stripe, routinely flags user accounts as requiring additional verification. You can learn more about Stripe’s KYC process here.
If your account is under review, payments to your bank account might be halted until your identity has been verified. During this time, you should still be able to make offers and complete other tasks, and the funds you earn will be accumulated in your Airtasker account.
In order to assist us in verifying your identity, we need you to do the following:
- Ensure that your Airtasker Profile has the following details:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Verified Mobile Number
- Billing Address
- Date of Birth
If any of these details are missing or incomplete, you can update them by going to your account settings while logged in. Remember to hit the ‘save profile’ button if you update this information!
Provide us with an image, or a scanned copy, of any form of government-issued identification (for example a driver’s licence or passport). This must clearly show your full name and your date of birth, and both information should match what’s on your Airtasker Profile.
You can upload these documents as indicated by the yellow banner at the top of your account settings page.
We will notify you once your verification is complete and your accumulated payments will be forwarded to your nominated bank account.
