How do I delete my Airtasker account?

We’re sorry to hear you want to delete your account.  Here are a few things to note before you submit an account deletion request:

• Your request will be permanent and can not be reversed.  

• If you are unsure as to whether you wish to delete your account permanently, you can instead deactivate your account.  Deactivation allows you to re-activate your account in future if you decide to do so.  For information about how to deactivate your account, click here. 

• If you’re certain you want to delete your Airtasker account please follow these steps:

iOS or Android app:

1. Login on the app

2. Click on the account icon

3. Select Personal Information

4. Click 'Delete my account'

Web:

1. Login in on the web

2. Click on the account icon in the top right corner

3. Click Settings

4. Select Account 

5. Click 'Delete my account'

Once your account deletion request has been processed, your account (and your personal information) will be deleted from our systems, subject to applicable local laws and regulations (e.g. GDPR) and mandated data retention practices. Please note that it may take up to 30 days to finalise your account deletion request.
