The Completion Rate gives an idea of your reliability and commitment. Each member has two rates on their profile (as shown below); one reflects the percentage of tasks completed as a Tasker, and the other shows the percentage of tasks completed as a Customer.
Members must complete at least 5 tasks before their completion rates are visible.
How should the Completion Rate be interpreted?
The Completion Rate serves as a significant indicator of reliability based on the most recent tasks undertaken. It can be interpreted as follows:
- 90-100%: Highly reliable
- 80-89%: Reliable
- 65-79%: Average
- 50-64%: Unreliable; frequently cancels
- 0-49%: Extremely unreliable; predominantly cancels
How is the Completion Rate calculated?
The Tasker Completion Rate - determined by the percentage of tasks they've completed from the last 20 tasks assigned to them.
The Customer Completion Rate - based on the number of tasks they've completed from those assigned to Taskers.
Your Completion Rate will only be affected by a task cancellation if you are listed as responsible for it. That's why it's important to ensure the reasons for task cancellations are accurate.
Having a high Completion Rate indicates that you're dependable and can finish tasks effectively. This not only enhances your reputation but also helps you stand out when making offers.
On the other hand, a low Completion Rate suggests that you often cancel tasks. This can lead to a negative experience for others and doesn't align with the Community Guidelines or our values.
Additionally, a low Completion Rate may put you at risk of restrictions or suspension from the Airtasker platform.
Where can I view my completion rate?
The Completion Rate is visible on a member’s public profile. As a Tasker, your Completion Rate will also be displayed to the Customer when you make an offer.
Why don't I have a completion rate?
Members need to have completed at least 5 tasks before their respective Completion Rates are displayed.
For members who have completed less than 5 tasks, it will appear as 'No Completion Rate'.
For new members who haven’t completed any tasks yet, it will appear as ‘hasn't received any reviews just yet'.
What happens if I have a low completion rate?
If your Completion Rate is often low, it suggests that you’re cancelling tasks quite a bit, which can lead to a less enjoyable experience for other members. A low Completion Rate might make Taskers less inclined to submit offers for the tasks you've posted.
