When your offer is accepted, the task status will change from "Open" to "Assigned." The payment for the task will be securely held in escrow using Airtasker Pay until the task is completed.
To ensure a seamless experience, follow these recommended steps:
1. Connect with the customer: Send a private message to the customer to confirm the finer details of the task. This open line of communication helps clarify any questions and ensures everyone is on the same page. Here's how:
- Open your task
- Select the blue Private message button
- Write your message and click Send
2. Request payment after completion: Once you have successfully completed the task, you may send evidence of completion via Private Messages and then click on "Request Payment." This action will mark the task as completed and notify the customer. If they agree that the task has been satisfactorily done they will then be prompted to release the payment which will be reflected in your bank account in 3-5 business days.
