Both members have the option to request an increase to the price after a task has been assigned.
When you (the Poster) wants to increase the price, the additional funds will be automatically added to escrow with the original payment.
However, when a Tasker wants to increase the price, a request will first be sent to you with further details. No extra payment will be debited unless you approve this request.
If you agree with the price increase request, you can accept it by following these steps:
- Log in to your Airtasker account
- Go to My tasks
- Select the specific task
- Click on Review request
- Review the price and reason, and click Approve
