How do Completion Rates work?

Whether you post a task or you're due to complete one, your commitment to the task is important to all Airtasker members and helps to promote trust within the Airtasker community.

The Completion Rate measures how reliable and committed you are. Every member has two Completion Rates (see below); one for the percentage of tasks completed as an Airtasker Worker, and the other for the percentage of tasks completed as a Job Poster.

Members need to have completed at least 5 tasks before their respective Completion Rates are displayed.

A high Completion Rate shows that you’re very reliable and able to get tasks completed. This builds your reputation and helps you to stand out when making an offer or posting a task.

A low Completion Rate means you’re frequently cancelling tasks. This creates a negative experience for other members and doesn’t follow the Community Guidelines nor reflect our values.

A low Completion Rate puts you at risk of being restricted or suspended from the Airtasker platform.

How is the Completion Rate calculated?

Airtasker Worker Completion Rate – is the percentage of completed tasks out of the total that you had your offer accepted on and were expected to completed.

Job Poster Completion Rate – is the percentage of completed tasks out of the total you’ve accepted an offer on.

If you request a cancellation however the cancellation is because the other party is not able to complete the task, your Completion Rate will not be affected. Only if you cause the task cancellation will your Completion Rate be affected.

A task cancellation is deemed to be caused by the Airtasker Worker if the Airtasker Worker is unable to complete a task that has been assigned to them. If the Job Poster decides not to proceed with the task after having assigned the task, then the task cancellation is recorded as caused by the Job Poster.

Where can I view my completion rate?

The Completion Rate is visible on a member’s public profile. As an Airtasker Worker, your Completion Rate will also be displayed to the Job Poster when you make an offer (see below).

Why don't I have a completion rate?

Members need to have completed at least 5 tasks before their respective Completion Rates are displayed.

For members who have completed less than 5 tasks, it will appear as 'No Completion Rate'.

For new members who haven’t completed any tasks yet, it will appear as as ‘hasn't received any reviews just yet'.

What happens if I have a low completion rate?

If your Completion Rate is consistently low, it means you’re frequently cancelling tasks, which creates a negative experience for other members. A low Completion Rate puts you at risk of being restricted or suspended from the Airtasker platform.
