Unfortunately, sometimes these things happen however we’re here to help.
If your Tasker doesn't show up or they're not responding to your messages, we recommend that you give them at least 24-48 hours to get back to you. If they’re still unresponsive let them know via Airtasker private messaging that you’ll be cancelling the task.
To cancel the task:
- Go to My Tasks
- Select the task and select 'More Options' > 'Cancel Task'
You will then be prompted through the task cancellation process. Once the cancellation is successful the payment may be returned as Airtasker Credit by the end of the next business day. This way you can re-post the task.
To re-post the task you can go to the task page and select 'More Options' > 'Post a similar task'. Remember to change any details that may have changed (such as the due date and location).
If you’d like the payment returned to your account instead, please let us know by responding to the cancellation email or emailing email@example.com with the task URL.
