Airtasker is excited to offer IKEA customers the ability to get furniture assembled through Airtasker and a trial is currently underway at the IKEA Tempe, NSW store.
Inside an IKEA store, customers will be able to post a furniture assembly task from an Airtasker kiosk and get it completed by an experienced Airtasker Worker.
Why would I want to get this badge?
Airtasker’s partnership with IKEA will create more tasks, which will be exclusive to Airtasker Workers who have an IKEA Badge. This gives Airtaskers access to more tasks and the opportunity to earn more.
How does it work?
Within the IKEA Tempe store, there will be dedicated Airtasker kiosks to help IKEA customers post a furniture assembly task.
All IKEA tasks are completed by Airtasker Workers who have an IKEA Badge. Airtaskers who do not have an IKEA Badge can view the task but cannot make an offer.
The IKEA tasks will clearly display an IKEA badge.
How will I know if the task is an IKEA task?
The task will have an IKEA™ image. See example below.
How can I apply for an IKEA Badge?
For the trial, a group of Airtasker's who meet the following criteria were invited to apply for the IKEA badge.
IKEA Badge Criteria
- Are experienced with doing IKEA furniture assembly tasks through Airtasker.

Can I still complete normal Airtasker tasks?
Yes of course! Taking part of this trial does not stop you from completing normal Airtasker tasks.
