Why can't I post my phone number or email?

Airtasker does not allow you to share any private contact details in any public areas of the site, in order to protect your privacy, security and to prevent spam.

This means you won't be able to post comments or attachments on tasks or your profile that contain details including the below:

• Full name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Physical address
• Website links (such as business, personal or portfolio sites)
• Business names
• Social media handles  

We've incorporated this into our Guidelines for the benefit of Posters and Taskers, in order to keep Airtasker a safe, fair and rewarding place for all members.
