There is no insurance cover provided for the Ireland marketplace for any activity or transaction, actual or intended.
Customers/Posters and taskers must ensure they have enough personal or business insurance to cover their needs in case things didn’t go as planned before, during and after completion of tasks.
We encourage customers/posters to find out about the details of Taskers’ own insurance, as the independent contractor and service provider and be satisfied with the level of cover provided and also be aware of the exclusions of the taskers’ insurance policy, prior to assigning any task to any tasker.
We also encourage customers/posters to find out in detail about any warranty that the taskers might offer and be satisfied with details provided, prior to assigning any task.
If you believe the tasker you have assigned has damaged your property or injured yourself or someone else, we encourage you to communicate this issue as soon as possible to the tasker and try to work out an acceptable solution for both parties.
If you are having difficulties communicating with your assigned tasker after an incident has occurred, please contact us.
Whilst we can’t help you by providing any payout, we can help facilitate the communication between you and your assigned tasker.
If you feel that the outcome of your negotiation with the assigned tasker is not satisfactory, you may wish to pursue the matter further through legal avenues as permitted by local laws.
We will help where we can to supply the information needed to the relevant authorities as requested by them.
