If you wish to have your funds returned to your originating payment method, please note that the task will first need to be cancelled. If your task is not yet cancelled, check out the steps in this article.
Once the task is cancelled, an email is sent to you confirming task cancellation and information about the task funds being returned as Airtasker credits. Simply respond to the email should you wish to have your funds returned to your originating payment method. Once our customer support team initiates the return, it immediately leaves Airtasker and begins the process of your bank putting the funds back on your card.
The time it takes to complete the transfer depends on your issuing bank. To know more about how long it usually takes, you can check here.
Note: As per bank policy, refunds can only be processed on the originating card that was charged for the task.
