To make your Airtasker experience safe and enjoyable, below are behaviours expected from all members of the community. This will help everyone achieve our vision of connecting people who need things done with people who are looking to do them.
These basic principles tie together our Community Guidelines so that all users know what’s expected of them.
Be the person you claim and appear to be and all information placed in the Airtasker platform are authentic and verifiable. This includes but is not limited to personal information, content and details about who will work on a task.
All reviews that you write about the other user must be factual and each user can only have one account.
Use the platform's services by keeping all communication and payment within it. Provide the true amount at the start of the job and only collect or pay for the agreed price.
Remember that the Airtasker platform is for people who need to get things done with people who are looking to do them. It can't be used to promote a business or services, it is not a place to look for employment or employees, it is not for volunteering and it’s not a bazaar for selling or buying items.
Make sure that you and the other person you are working with is safe and that your encounter does not cause anxiety, danger or harm to one’s self or others.
Threats, using words suggesting harm and any form of obscenity or suggestive tasks are not allowed on the platform.
Think: Golden rule
Treat others the way you want to be treated. Be kind and respectful at all times and consider other people’s feelings, rights and beliefs.
Airtasker is against any form of discrimination, may it be in the basis of race, religion, age, gender, nationality, sexual orientation or disability.
Right is right. Wrong is wrong.
Simply do what is right even when no one is looking.
Be honest and follow the rules set by the Australian government and Airtasker. Act with moral uprightness at all times. If it’s against the law, there’s no room for it in Airtasker, either.
