How does Airtasker work?
We provide an online open marketplace connecting two types of members - the Customer who needs to outsource tasks to be done and the Tasker who wants to earn money working on tasks.
Airtasker supports task contracts between members. This is great for you because it means secure payments, insurance, free dispute resolution and a friendly Support Team ready to help.

Who can create an account on Airtasker?
Signing up is free for everyone - you just need to be over 18. If you’re doing tasks, you’ll also need to have legal working rights in Australia.
How do I create an account?
Our sign-up process is quick and easy - it only takes 90 seconds! You can sign up using your email address, or with a Facebook, Google or Apple account. Head to www.airtasker.com to get started!
What information is needed to get started?
You can start using Airtasker as soon as you’ve signed up, however, there are some things you will be prompted to provide when you use certain features. This can include verifying your mobile number and providing your bank details or payment method so you can make and receive payments. Please be assured that all your details are secure and protected with the utmost care.
Are there any rules to follow on Airtasker?
We have a set of Community Guidelines for our Customers/Posters and Taskers, that you agree to when you create an account. These guidelines have been created in line with the Terms and Conditions, and are in place to help all members have a fair, enjoyable and safe experience on the platform.
