Changes to Task Alerts

What’s changed about task alerts and why am I receiving more of them?

We’ve been working hard to improve the ways that tasks are notified to Taskers and we’ve refined the ways our keyword matching works.

These improvements include matching based on word roots. For example, the root word of ‘cleaning’ can match ‘clean’, ‘cleans’, ‘cleaned’.

This will mean you get notified about more tasks which are relevant to your keywords. If a version of the each keyword is in either the title or description a task alert will be sent. This might mean you’ll see an increase in task alerts sent to you.
