Sometimes issues come up that might make you want to cancel a task.
If you do find yourself wishing to cancel a task, we strongly encourage you to see if there's another way to get the task done. Depending on the situation, you can change the due date, change the task price, or communicate with the Tasker via private messaging.
You can submit a cancellation request by following the steps below:
- Log into your Airtasker account and go to the task page.
- Press on 'More options' and then 'Cancel task.'
- Follow the prompts and fill out all the required information. Ensure to indicate the reason for cancelling the task.
Note:
- A fee may be applied when processing cancellations.
- If applicable, this fee will need to be paid by the Airtasker member responsible for cancelling, as indicated through the cancellation reason.
