When posting a task, set a budget as a starting point; Taskers will offer prices based on time, skill, and effort. Use the comments to agree on a fair price. Refer to the price guide, estimate task duration, or start at $25/hour if unsure. For countries outside Australia, the US, and the UK, use the equivalent of $25 AUD as a starting rate and check similar tasks before making offers.
When you post a task, we ask you to set a budget to give an idea of how much you'd like to spend. This amount is just a starting point, and from there, Taskers will make an offer based on what they think reflects the time, skill, and effort needed to complete your task.
You can chat with the Tasker to agree on a fair price that suits both of you by using the comments feature on the task before assigning it.
If you're unsure where to begin, here are some helpful steps:
- Take a look at the price guide, which shows approximate hourly rates for different types of tasks.
- Consider how long you expect the task to take and what you think is a fair hourly rate for the work involved.
- If you're unsure about the hourly rate or the time it might take, you can start with a rate of $25 an hour and let our community of Airtaskers help you find the right price.
You can also check out similar tasks under Browse Tasks before making or accepting offers.
