Realised there’s more to be done or the task is more complicated than initially thought? Not to worry, increasing the task price is simple.
Once an offer has been accepted, as a Customer you can increase the task price at any time, using the steps below:
Desktop:
- On the task, select increase price above the green private message button.
- Enter how much you’d like to add and mention why you’re increasing the price.
Note: The amount that needs to be entered is the additional amount, not the new task price.
For example, you'd like to add 10 and the original assigned price is 120.
Enter the amount 10 on the space provided and hit submit.
- Once payment is made with Airtasker Pay the task price is automatically updated.
iOS:
- On the task, select increase price above the green private message button.
- Enter how much you’d like to add and mention why you’re increasing the price.
Note: The amount that needs to be entered is the additional amount, not the new task price.
For example, You'd like to add 10 and the original assigned price is 50.
Enter the amount 10 on the space provided and hit submit.
- Once payment is made with Airtasker Pay the task price is automatically updated.
Android:
- On the task, select increase price above the green private message button.
- Enter how much you’d like to add and mention why you’re increasing the price.

For example, You'd like to add 10 and the original assigned price is 50.
Enter the amount 10 on the space provided and hit submit.
- Once payment is made with Airtasker Pay the task price is automatically updated.
The price can be increased multiple times at a maximum amount of 2500 and the service fee is applied to all price increases.
